Flipped Classroom

The Flipped Classroom is an exciting relatively new concept more and more teachers are discovering. While probably best with Secondary students, it can work for other levels as well.

The concept is that students would sit through the lecture portion of their studies through some form of technology, e.g.: online videos, power points, etc. and then spend their class time working with their teacher and peers on their “homework”, that is, flipping their learning time.

Some LEARN online courses have used this theory with good success this year, and many classrooms across the globe have experienced good success.
